if the patient is in a particular disease register but has no outstanding indicators.
You can also configure the contract indicators to show future triggers, which can
help the practice to plan appropriate reviews.
In addition to displaying the contract indicators for the disease categories, BlueBayCT
can also help you to capture cervical smear, and organisational data such as the
summarisation of medical records and medication reviews.
Contract Templates for concise data capture...
In addition to using the Contract Indicators, you can
also use BlueBayCT’s built in Contract Templates to record data. These are included
for all of the disease categories and are designed specifically to aid with clinics
and chronic disease monitoring. The Contract templates in BlueBayCT will show you
the data you need to record, as well as the data that is already held in the patient
record.
To help with chronic disease management, BlueBayCT also has a useful Template Designer
that lets you to design and create your own practice-defined indicators, allowing
the clinician to use the templates as a complete health clinic data entry tool.
Patient Lists used for target and recall of patients...
Both clinical and administrative staff alike will find
BlueBayCT’s Patient Lists an essential tool for managing GMS contract data. Working
as an enhanced reporting system, the Patient Lists quickly scan through your entire
patient database and display lists of patients who are on your disease registers,
or lists of patients with specific indicators.
You can use these lists to tidy up your data by recording contract codes, exception
codes, and other data, or to run a mail merge to print off invitation and recall
letters. BlueBayCT will also keep track of the number of letters you have sent to
patients, so that when the maximum required number of letters is reached, you can
exception code the remaining defaulters en masse. BlueBayCT will even manage your
influenza vaccination recalls!
