FAQ's
Q. Why are some of the questions in the Depression questionnaire greyed out?
A. Initially only the first two questions are available for selection. Depending on the answers given, the remaining 7 questions will become available for selection. When you select the answer as "More than half the days" or "Nearly every day" to either of the first two questions then the remaining seven questions become available. The first two questions decide whether the patient is depressed, and the following seven questions are used to quantify the severity.

Q. What do the different colour contract indicators represent?
A. The way that the colour-coding works is dependent on the April 2009 settings within the configuration of BlueBayCT. Please click on the link below for an exact description. Colour Coding for Contract Indicators.
Q. How do I exception code a patient from one of the tidy up lists?
A. The tidy up lists are there for suggestion only. If patients correctly appear on a tidy up list then they should be left there, and do not need to be exception coded.
Q. Why is it when I add a Cancer Review readcode onto the CAN3 trigger, the marker is not cancelling?
A. The date applied to the Cancer Review readcode should be within six months of diagnosis, or the trigger will not cancel.
Q. My popup alerts have disappeared when I open patient records in my clinical system!
A. You may have "dragged" the popup alert window off your screen and are unable to get it back. Right-click on the BlueBayCT program icon in the Notification area your Windows Taskbar, and from the popup menu choose Settings. Click the Defaults button to reset the position and size of the popup box.
Q. How do I know if the BlueBayCT Software is running on my computer?
A. In the Notification area located in the lower right-hand corner of your Windows Taskbar, you should see the BlueBayCT program icon. The software is started automatically when you log into your computer and closes when you shut down or log off. As long as the icon appears on the Taskbar, BlueBayCT is running on your computer.
Q. I find the popup alerts a little intrusive when I open patient records in my clinical system?
A. The software offers a number of options for managing the popup alerts window. If you simply want to come back to the alerts window later, click the Close button. You can re-open the window though the Notification Button. You can also move or resize the window and the software will remember these settings each time you open a patient record.
Q. Why is it that when I add an exception code to the CHD11 trigger, I get a message saying that the Marker has not been cancelled?
A. When exempting a patient from the CHD11 trigger, it is nessesary to add an exception codes for each of the possible drugs e.g. Asprin, Beta Blockers and Anticoagulants.
Q. In what way does the BlueBayCT DES software work with my clinical system?
A. The BlueBayCT DES software offers a range of useful tools and features to help you manage your Directed Enhanced Services. It works with your clinical system by constantly analyzing your patient data in "real time" and providing you with popup alerts for the missing items of data. The software also includes data entry screens, customizable templates, and report lists for DES. Please refer to the User Guide for full details of how to access and use these features.
Q. Why is it that the AF3 trigger is not cancelling when the patient has Aspirin or an alternative recorded in the last 15 months?
A. The time criterion has changed with QOF Version 10. Aspirin or an alternative now has to be recorded in the 6 months before the end of the contract year, whereas it used to be 15 months before.
